One free fence measurement, then a written scope inside three working days.

Book a fence measurement in Austin with the form below, a call or an email. Tell us the street and roughly how many feet. The crew lead who measures is the one who writes your scope and stands on the string line the day we dig. Fence installation, wood fence replacement, gate repair and driveway gates all start the same way.

A · Book a measure

Send the lot, we bring the wheel

Name and one way to reach you is all we strictly need. Length, height and the gates you want get you a typical range on the reply.

Leave a phone or an email so we can call you back. One is enough.

No price you see from us before the measure is a quote.

B · After you send it

What happens, and how long each part takes

  1. Same or next working dayA call or email back with a typical range if you gave us a length, and two or three measuring slots. No automated drip of follow-up emails.
  2. The measure, about an hourThe crew lead walks the whole line, finds property pins where they exist, checks grade and soil, and marks where the gates go with you. Bring the HOA rules if you have them.
  3. Within three working daysThe written scope: every post numbered on a sketch, post depths, concrete bag count, materials by species and size, the start date and the price. That number is the binding one.
  4. You sign, or you don'tNo deposit is taken on this site and nothing is charged for the measure. If the scope isn't what you wanted, tell us which line and it gets rewritten.
  5. Utility locatesWe call in the locate request before the dig date. Nothing goes in the ground until the flags are out and checked against the scope.
  6. Install dayTwo-person crew, posts first, panels and gates once the concrete has cured. You test every gate before we leave. How an install day runs.

Questions people ask on the first call

Fence and gate types with price bases
  • Does the fence measurement cost anything?

No, measuring is free inside Austin. Travel to lots outside the city is agreed when you book, before anyone drives out.

  • Can you quote from photos or a satellite view?

We give a typical range from photos, never a binding number. A cedar privacy fence usually lands at $42 to $58 per linear foot installed, but a satellite photo doesn't show the 18 inch grade drop or the limestone shelf. The binding figure is the written scope after someone has walked the line.

  • Do I need to be home for the measure?

Not for the walk itself if the side gates are open and the dogs are inside. You need to be there, or on the phone, for twenty minutes at the end to agree gate positions and which side the latch goes.

  • Will you take a job that is only a gate repair?

Yes. Gate repair in Austin is booked like any other job. Most sagging gates need a steel post set 36 inches down, not new hinges, and the scope says which.
