When do these terms apply?

This version takes effect on 7 October 2026 and was last updated on that date. It applies from the moment you open a page on zovtira.com, and it applies to any inquiry you send through the form or the chat window from that date forward.

If you sent an inquiry before that date and the work has not started yet, the version in force when you received your scope sheet is the one that governs your job. Ask for a copy by email and we will send the exact text. We do not quietly re-date a document and treat it as agreed.

Who are these terms with?

Zovtira, trading at zovtira.com, a residential fence contractor in Austin, TX. Post to 40 Mill Street, Büro 5, Austin, Texas 32477, Austin, Texas, United States. Phone +1 (415) 555-2801. Email [email protected].

"We" and "us" on this page mean Zovtira. "You" means the person reading the site or sending an inquiry, and once work is booked, the person who owns the lot or is authorized to approve work on it. If you are booking a fence for a property you do not own, say so when you book. A measure booked by someone with no standing to approve a fence line is a wasted morning for everybody.

Who actually comes out, and who sets the posts, is written up on the page about the crew.

What does this site actually do?

It describes one trade and takes inquiries for it. Fence installation, fence measurement, layout, post setting, fence panels, walk gates, driveway gates, and wood fence replacement where a run has failed. That list is the whole scope. The four things we build, with specs and material notes, are set out on the fences and gates page.

What the site does not do: it does not sell decks, patios, retaining walls, concrete slabs, remodelling or general handyman work, and it does not quote them if you ask. We also do not do gate automation ourselves. Where a driveway gate needs an operator, opener loops or a keypad, that install is carried out and quoted by a separate automation contractor and the figure sits on their paperwork, not ours. We hang the gate, set the steel and leave the stub conduit where the operator wants it.

The site is not a scheduling system either. Sending the form does not reserve a date on the calendar. A date exists when a crew lead has confirmed it to you by phone or email.

Can I buy a fence on this website?

No. There is no cart, no checkout and no card field anywhere on zovtira.com, and we take no payment through it. Every number you see here, including the ranges on the home page and the per-item bases on fences and gates, is an estimate for conversation. None of it is a binding quote and none of it is an offer we can be held to.

How an inquiry turns into a job, in order:

  • You send the form or call. We read the length, the height and the gate count.
  • A crew lead comes out and measures. Free inside Austin; travel outside the city is discussed when you book, before anyone drives.
  • You get a written scope: every post position, every post depth, the concrete bag count per post, the picket and rail material, the gate hardware, the linear-foot total and one price.
  • You approve that scope in writing, by email reply or signature. That approval is the contract. Nothing before it binds either of us.
  • A deposit is invoiced against the approved scope and paid directly to us, not through this site.

If the scope sheet and this website disagree about a figure, the scope sheet wins. It was written on your lot, with a tape.

How is the price worked out?

Everything is priced in US dollars. Fence runs are priced per linear foot of finished fence, measured along the line we will actually build, not along the property line on a plat. Gates are priced each, because a 3 ft walk gate and a 14 ft cantilever slide have almost nothing in common except the word gate.

The ranges we quote from today:

Typical bases in USD. Not a quote.
What Basis Moves the number
Cedar privacy fence $42–58 per linear foot, 6 ft Board-on-board or single side, rock depth, grade change, tear-out
Horizontal slat fence $58–80 per linear foot Slat gap, cedar post wrap, cap rail, run length
Ornamental steel fence $45–70 per linear foot 4 ft or 5 ft panel, pool-height latch spec, core drilling
Walk gate $650–1,400 each Width, frame material, hinge and latch choice
Driveway gate $3,800–9,500 each 10 to 16 ft, swing or cantilever slide, post size, cladding
Automation Quoted per gate by the operator installer Not our invoice; their scope, their warranty

Measuring is free of charge within Austin. Travel outside the city is discussed when booking.

What pushes a job to the top of its range: limestone within the first 18 inches, which turns a 15-minute hole into an hour with a rock auger; a tear-out of an old wood fence that has to be hauled; slope that forces stepped panels; and a long carry where no truck can reach the line. What pulls it to the bottom: straight runs over 150 ft, clear access, soft caliche and no demolition.

A scope price holds for 30 days from the date on the sheet. After that we re-check lumber and steel, because cedar and galvanized pipe both move faster than anyone would like. Changes after approval are priced as a written addendum before the crew touches them, including the one that comes up most: "can you move the gate three feet." Moving a gate after the posts are set means breaking concrete, and we will tell you the number before we swing a hammer, not after.

What does the workmanship warranty cover?

Our labour, for 24 months from the day the job is signed off. If a post we set moves out of plumb, a rail pulls off a bracket, a panel sags between posts, or a gate we hung stops latching because of how it was hung, we come back and fix it at no charge. One phone call, no form to fill out.

Gate alignment gets its own line. Gates are the moving part and they are what fails first, which is why we set gate posts in steel at 36 inches and line posts at 24. Within the first 12 months you get one free re-hang and latch adjustment on any gate we installed, for any reason, including a gate the ground has shifted under. After that we charge for a gate repair visit in Austin like any other call.

Workmanship warranty, from sign-off
Part Period What we do
Post setting and concrete 24 months Re-set or re-pour the post, re-hang whatever was attached to it
Panels, rails, brackets 24 months Re-fix or replace the failed component and its fasteners
Gate hang and hardware fit 12 months One free re-hang and latch adjustment per gate, parts included
Steel welds and powder coat 24 months on our welds Re-weld and touch up; panel finish follows the maker's own terms
Manufactured parts Whatever the maker gives We file the claim with them and fit the replacement

What the warranty does not cover, stated plainly because this is where people get surprised. Wood moves. Western red cedar shrinks, cups, checks and greys out, and a picket that has twisted in the Texas sun is the timber behaving normally, not a defect in our labour. Board-on-board exists precisely so that shrinkage does not open a sight line. We also do not cover storm damage, a tree or limb coming down on a run, a vehicle hitting a gate, soil heave or erosion from a drainage problem on the lot, staining and sealing you had done by someone else, hardware a third party swapped out, damage from an automation operator we did not install, or anything a later contractor cut, drilled or re-hung.

To make a claim, call +1 (415) 555-2801 or email [email protected] with the street address and a photo of the problem. We answer within two business days and book a look. The warranty runs with the property address, not with you personally, so it survives a sale. It does not cover a run we did not build, even if it is bolted to one we did.

What are you not allowed to do here?

Use the site to book fence work, ask a question, or read the specs. That is it. Do not send inquiries you have no intention of following up, do not use the form or the chat to pitch us services, and do not feed either one someone else's phone number or address. Both are read by a person who then drives somewhere.

Also off limits: scraping or bulk-copying the pages, probing the forms or the server for weaknesses, running automated submissions, trying to reach administrative areas that are not linked in the navigation, uploading anything malicious, and impersonating us or another contractor. We log what the server logs and we will hand it to our host if a submission is abusive.

The inquiry form carries two unlabelled hidden fields and a timestamp. They exist to catch bots. If a submission trips them it is discarded without reaching anyone, so if you are a real person, fill out only the fields you can see and do not paste the form somewhere else.

Who owns the photographs and the text?

We do. The copy on every page, the specification tables, the price bases, the Zovtira name and wordmark, and every photograph on this site belong to Zovtira and are not licensed for reuse.

You may print or save a page for your own use, and you may quote a short passage with a link back to zovtira.com. You may not lift our photographs into another contractor's gallery, republish the spec tables as your own, or use the wordmark in a way that suggests we built something we did not. If you find our photographs on another contractor's site, tell us at [email protected] and we will ask for them to come down.

Hardware and panel brand names mentioned anywhere on the site belong to their makers and appear only to describe what we fit.

What is not warranted?

The site itself is provided as is. We keep the specs and the ranges current, but we do not warrant that every figure here is accurate on the day you read it, that the site is available without interruption, or that it is free of error. Lumber and steel pricing moves, and a page can be a week behind a mill invoice.

Nothing on this site is a survey, a plat, an engineering opinion or legal advice about your boundary. We measure to build, not to establish a property line, and we will not place a fence on a line you cannot show us. If a boundary is in dispute, get a surveyor before you call us. We also do not warrant that a fence we quote will satisfy your HOA, your city setback or a pool code inspection unless the written scope says so in those words. Pool-height ornamental steel is built to a self-closing, self-latching spec because that is what pool enclosures need, and the inspector who signs it off is not us.

No platform, directory or advertising network has reviewed, approved or verified this site or the work described on it. Advertising placement is not an endorsement by anyone.

How far does your liability go?

For anything arising out of your use of this website, our total liability is limited to what you have paid us, which for a website visit is nothing. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss from the site: lost time, lost profit, a decision you made on a range that turned out not to match your lot.

For work we actually perform, liability is limited to the price of the job on the approved written scope, and the remedy is the workmanship warranty above: we come back and we fix it. Where the law of Texas does not permit a limit to be excluded, including liability for death, personal injury or fraud caused by us, nothing here reduces it. Statutory rights you hold as a consumer in Texas are not affected by anything on this page.

Underground utilities: we file locates before we dig, every job, and we work to the marks the locate service paints. Private lines the locate service does not cover and nobody tells us about are on the lot owner. Sprinkler mains, low-voltage lighting loops, pool bond wires and gas runs to a grill are the usual ones. Tell the crew lead at the measure where they are. We carry a repair coupling and we will patch a sprinkler line we clip, but we will not take on the cost of a line nobody marked and nobody mentioned.

When would you refuse to work with me?

We can decline or withdraw access to the site and to our inquiry channels, without notice, if the use breaks the rules above: automated submissions, abuse of the form or chat, attempts to break into the server, or threats to our crews. A blocked address can ask us to review that by email.

We also turn down jobs, and we would rather say it here than on a driveway. We walk away from a fence line we cannot verify the boundary for, from a request to set a gate post over 4 ft wide in wood, from dry-mixed concrete dumped into a dry hole, and from treated pine pickets sold to you as cedar. Those four things are how a fence fails in year three and we are not putting our name on them.

You can cancel an approved scope. Before materials are ordered, a deposit is returned less the cost of the measure visit if it was outside Austin. Once cedar is cut to length, steel is ordered or a gate frame is welded for your opening, those materials are yours and are invoiced. We will tell you the day that line is crossed, because it is usually about 72 hours before the crew arrives.

Whose law applies if we end up arguing?

The law of Texas, United States. Any dispute about these terms, about the site, or about work done under an approved scope is heard in the courts of Austin. If you reached the site from Europe, the data-protection rights described in the privacy notice still apply to you regardless of where a court sits.

Before anyone files anything, call. Most arguments about a fence are an argument about one post, one gate swing or one line on a scope sheet, and a crew lead standing on the lot settles them faster than a filing fee. A privacy or data complaint goes a different route: your state Attorney General, and in California the California Privacy Protection Agency. That route is set out on the data request section.

How will I know if these terms change?

The date at the top of this page changes, and so does the date in the page's own structured data. That date is the only announcement, so check it if you are about to approve a scope. We do not email a notice for a wording change.

Where a change affects something material, such as the warranty periods, the pricing basis or how an inquiry becomes an order, we keep the previous version on file and will send it to you on request at [email protected]. A job already approved runs under the terms in force on the day you approved it. A revision never reaches backwards into a signed scope.

Cookie and consent handling moves on its own schedule and is documented separately on the cookies page.

Where do I send a question about these terms?

Email [email protected], call +1 (415) 555-2801, or write to us at:

Zovtira

Put "Terms" in the subject line and the question gets to the person who wrote this page. A warranty claim should carry the street address of the job and a photo. A data request goes to the same email and is answered within 10 days; what we hold and for how long is listed in the privacy notice.

If what you actually want is a number for your yard, that is a different conversation and a shorter one. Book a measure and tell us the length, the height and how many gates.
