17. How to make a data request

One route, and it is a person, not a portal. Email [email protected] with the word Data request in the subject, or write to:

Zovtira, Data request
40 Mill Street, Büro 5
Austin, Texas 32477
United States

Say which right you are exercising — a copy, a correction, deletion, restriction, portability, an objection, withdrawal of consent, or an opt-out of sharing — and give us the phone number or email address you used when you enquired, so we can find the record. For an enquiry about a specific lot, the street address of that lot is the fastest way to locate it.

We answer within 10 days. If the request is large enough that it needs longer, you hear from us inside those 10 days with what is holding it up. We ask for identification only when we cannot otherwise be sure the request comes from the person in the record, and then only enough to match it. An authorized agent may act for a California resident; send proof of the authorization with the request.

What survives a deletion request: a signed scope for work we installed, and the invoice, where the warranty in our terms still runs or Texas tax law requires the record. Everything else goes, and we confirm in writing what was removed.

20. Accessibility of this site

We build this site against WCAG 2.2 level AA and check each page with a keyboard and a screen reader before it goes live. Every page has a skip link as the first focusable element. Headings run in order with one h1 per page. Text sits on the plum-black ground at a contrast ratio above 4.5:1, and the acid-green accent is used for focus rings and buttons where it clears the same bar. Focus is always visible: a two-pixel acid outline, never removed.

The navigation rail works with a keyboard alone. Tab reaches the menu button, Enter opens the panel, focus stays inside it while it is open, Escape closes it and returns focus to the button. The pinned process run on the home page is scroll-driven, and under prefers-reduced-motion it releases into plain stacked sections with no fades and no scroll snapping. Tap targets are at least 44 by 44 pixels. Tables that are wider than a phone scroll inside their own box and can be reached with the keyboard; the page itself never scrolls sideways at 320 pixels.

Form fields carry real labels, errors are announced in text next to the field rather than by colour alone, and no field is required that the handler does not require. Every photograph has alt text describing the work in it. There is no map embed on this site at all — the address is written out as text, which also means no unlabelled iframe for a screen reader to fall into.

What is not perfect: the display face is a stencil, and at the smallest sizes some readers find it harder than a plain grotesque, so we keep it for headings and set all body copy in Archivo. If something on this site blocks you, say so at [email protected] or +1 (415) 555-2801 and tell us the page and the device. We answer accessibility reports on the same 10-day clock as a data request, and if a fix will take longer we give you the information another way in the meantime — including reading a scope down the phone.

Still want the fence measured

Nobody quotes a fence off a satellite photo. Give us the lot address and roughly how many feet you need, and a crew lead comes out with a tape. Measuring is free of charge within Austin.
